Birds of Iowa Wallpaper

Add interest to your computer desktop with images of Iowa birds. Each month (give or take) a new image will be available for download. 

2005 begins a new era in our "Wallpaper of the Month".  Chaiyan Kasorndorkbua, a graduate student at Iowa State University, was out original photographer.  Before Chaiyan returned to his native Thailand, where he thankfully was safe from the tsunami, he passed the torch to his shutterbug buddy Jay Gilliam.  We welcome the addition of Jay's great photos and hope you will continue to enjoy this feature.

To get your wallpaper of the month, select the size of image you want below.  (The standard setting for most Windows users is 800 X 600.)  When the image appears, right click on it and choose "Set As Background".  When you are finished, use your browser's back button to return to this page.
