IOU Privacy

The Iowa Ornithologists' Union respects your right to privacy. The organization's membership list is never sold and is only given to an outside entity when approved by the IOU Board of Directors for the express purpose of providing the membership with a one-time mailing of birding interest.  All personal information, such as name, address, or e-mail, that is submitted via this site will be treated as confidentially as our membership list.
