The Iowa Ornithologists' Union publishes two quarterly periodicals, Iowa Bird Life and IOU News, that are mailed to the membership and subscribing libraries.  Back issues of Iowa Bird Life from 1930 forward, in PDF format, are available in the Ann Barker Memorial Library.  The most recent two years are available only to IOU members through Member Services on this website.

The Publications Committee is responsible for managing the bulk of the IOU annual budget and producing not only the fine two paper publications listed above but also the Iowa Birds website.  The committee also has oversight of the IA-BIRD listserv.
